Players will receive a commorative t-shirt and medal for their participation. Showdown Sports Media Team will be at the event creating a photographic keepsake of the event for the kids and familys. Also, program created with each teams roster (coaches too) and sponors.
The tournament will be played at Minnetonka High School Dome and games at US BANK Stadium, "The Home of the Minnesota Vikings". Additionally, there will be team and individual photo opportunities for players on US BANK Stadium.
Sportsmanship awards will be given to the team in each division that displays the best sportsmanship during the tournament (teamsvote for their pick, but cannot vote for themselves). The idea of this tournament is to have a fun experience on an NFL Football Team's (Vikings) Field with our friends from the NORTH.
WE ARE ENCOURAGING FAMILIES AND COACHES TO WEAR CHRISTMAS THEME ATTIRE I.E. CHRISTMAS UGLY SWEATERS, SANTA HATS ETC. WE WANT TO BRING THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS TO OUR TOURNAMENT AS A GESTURE OF GOODWILL TOWARDS ALL.
PLEASE BRING A TOY FOR THE TOYS FOR TOTS DRIVE.
