Welcome to the 1st Annual Battle at Steele Rd Tournament be held at 4930 Steele Rd, Ellenwood, Ga. Here is some information to make your experience A1.

*We are accepting all qualified teams

*REGISTRATION- EARLY BIRD ENTRY FEE $225 UNTIL JULY 1ST

* ALL ATLTES MUST COMPLETE A WAIVER

* GATE ENTRY FEE- $10 5 & UNDER FREE CASHLESS

1. Schedule- will be provided by the Wednesday before the tournament begins

2. Certification/Team Check-in - All athletes must be SPORTS CERTIFIED or have a STATE ID CARDS to be elgible to play. Certification will be at halftime prior to the start of your first game. All players must be present in order to be elgible to play. 

3. Games - 2 Game guarantee. The top teams will advance to a single elimination bracket play. 

* 6U Division will play 8 minute quarters

a. clock stops on change of possession 

b. incomplete passes

1 timeout per half (will have mandatory waterbreaks)

 

* 8U-14U Division will play 10 minute quarters.

Clock will start on ready whistle after:

a. incomplete passes

b. out of bounds

c. first downs

Clock will start ON THE SNAP

a. scores

b. change of posession

c. time outs

*1 time out per half (will have mandatory waterbreaks)

4. RULES- GAMETIME IS GAMETIME- FAILURE TO NOT SHOW UP ON TIME WILL RESULT IN A FORFEIT after 15 minutes

No Kickoffs ball will be placed on the 35 yard line

*No Punts ball will be walked off 25 yards from the line of scrimmage

* Extra Points- Running 1 pt, Passing 2 pts

* Mercy rule- After 20 pt lead  the game will turn int a running clock

   - NO BLITZING or LINING UP OVER THE CENTER

OVERTIME- ball will be placed on the 10 yard line . Each team will have th eopportunity to advance the ball and score. Should a penalty occur , the n the penalty willbe marked off and the play will count as a down. 1 timeout during OT. There will be no ties

5. Coaches Conduct- We expect coaches to behave professionally. Any verbal or personal attacks on referees or staff will not be tolerated. Coaches will be issued a warning. After initial warning the coach will be expelled from the competition and will not be allowed to coach the next game.

6. Coach Passes- Coaches must have a pass to be on the sideline. Head coaches will be issued wristbands at registration. Wristbands must be worn the entire weekend. We willonly issue wristbands once. Each team will receive 5 wristbands ONLY. 

7. Parents/ Fans- Parents are not allowed on th eplaying field, any team violating this rule will be issued a 15yd penalty at the 1st warning, 2nd warning the head coach will be removed from the field

8. AWARDS - will be given to the 1st place teams

9. DIVISIONS- 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH ON YOUR SIDELINES

FIGHTING, VERBAL ABUSE, AND/OR THREATS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT

WEAPONS, DRUGS, ALCOHOL, SMOKING PRODUCTS ARE PROHIBITED AT THIS EVENT
