We're so excited to launch our girl's league this fall with the support of H.E.B. ISD.  However, this league is OPEN TO THE DFW METROPLEX!!  We are growing girls flag in the DFW metroplex and we couldn't be more excited to bring this to the central hub of the metroplex.  Each week the teams will play 2 games in the span of 4 weeks and then will go into playoffs the 5th week.  Playoffs will be single elimination.  If we have any severe weather we will extend the season.  Games will be played on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Fall Season Dates:

September Combine: We will host a combine the week of September 15th (Date/Time/Location TBD).  This combine is for girls to get their first coach look that have not been frozen by a coach.  When your frozen by a coach it means that you can't be drafted by any other team.  Players that are frozen DO NOT come to the combine.  The combine is reserved for free agents.

October: 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th (Regular Season)

November: 2nd (Playoffs)

Deadline to Register: September 8th (Uniforms must be ordered by September 8th)

Included for Players: 8 Regular season games + playoffs, uniforms & set of flags for each player.

Included for Coaches: Coach shirt and one football for the head coach of the age division he/she coaches).  Assitant coaches will also receive coach shirts.

*Uniforms: These will be dry-fit and girls will have the option of choosing regular sports shorts or compression shorts (biker shorts).  I will need to know which style bottoms your athlete would prefer via text (817) 713-2129 or email Cassie@riseupflagfootball.com.  After you receive a uniform and it doesn't quite fit right, then please let us know ASAP.  Every player MUST wear the league jersey to participate.  If you choose to wear your own bottoms, they must be modest.  We don't want anyone wearing anything looking like swim suit bottoms.  Pockets are absolutely not allowed (including your own leggings/compression shorts), so please keep that in mind if you choose to not wear the league bottoms that you ordered.

Coach Shirts: Will be a dry fit shirt and must be worn to each game.  3 coaches max are allowed per team.

Zorts Player Card: Every player must have an eligible Zorts player card (not included in registration price).

Zorts Coach Card & Background Check: Every coach must have an eligible Zorts coach card and completed background check.

Teams: Coaches will be able to freeze 5 players and draft up to 3 players to make a team of 8 max.  We want every team to have at least 7 players minimum.  Coaches will be able to draft players from the combine.  If they're not able to make the draft, players for their age group will be assigned to their team based on needs.  

Practices: This will be up to coaches on how many practices a team will have based on their schedule.  Coaches are at liberty to choose where they'd like to hold their practices.  Right now H.E.B. schools are going through a lot of renovations, so space will be limited for practice areas.  H.E.B. staff are working on available spaces/times for coaches.  You are not limited to practice within H.E.B.

Coach Info Meeting: We know some coaches will be new to coaching girl's flag which is a different kind of animal.  We want to help set y'all up for success and will give you as many tools as we can to do so.

** We will go off of the USA Flag Youth Standard 5v5 rules.  The only ammendment is 8U will not have a rush.  10U and up will have a rush.  PLUS our 8U division will be coach/adult QB!

Awards: Championship Chains and Team Champion football for all players to autograph, + half off into a Rise Up Flag Football or USA Flag tournament for 2025 or 2026 with your winning team.
