Football (7v7) Tournament  -  March 16 to March 17, 2024

Thank you for joining us for the First Sign of Smoke Tournament. Please see the below team fee, guidelines and rules set forth to ensure the safety of our athletes. We look forward to a fun-filled day of football.

APRIL-$50.00
MAY-$75.00
JUNE-$100.00 (Last Day to Register June 21st)

SAFETY RULES
1. Helmets and mouthpieces are mandatory and must be worn at all times during play. Helmets must be fully fastened during play and mouthpieces in, or the player can be removed From the field until he is in compliance.
2. Age Divisions: 6U through 14U
3.Player must wear helmets and mouth guards
4. The age cut off date for each age division is July 1st 2025.
5. All players in each age group must have player cards to participate and be registered on Zorts. Any not registered will not be allowed to participate. (we have sent out information to the teams about this situation and if we do not have registration within Zorts and/or the full rosters emailed by 10 pm TONIGHT -players will be ineligible to play)
6. Maximum of 10 Coaching Staff allowed on the sideline during game.
7. All players will wear their own team uniforms – Jerseys must have numbers.
8. Players are permitted to wear standard football cleats with plastic or rubber spikes.


COACHES
1. Each team is permitted a MAXIMUM of 10 Coaching Staff on the sideline during game.
2. Coaches must have all registration, releases and associated paper work properly filled out and turned in at the appropriate times. It is the Coaches responsibility to know all of his players and ages.
3. The 10 Coaching Staff will have free gate entry at the event & will be given a wristband which must be worn for the entire event.
4. Coaches are responsible for knowing all rules and educating their players on the rules & conduct.
5. Coaches are responsible for maintaining their sideline.
6. Any Coach, Player or Person that is overly aggressive, threatens or uses physical force towards Referee, Staff Member, Coach, Player or Spectator will be removed from the event venue and not be allowed to return. Alpha Dawgs Elite reserves the right to review incident and allow return of Coach / Person the following day on our discretion.

OFFICALS
1. Each game will have a minimum of 3 officials. There will be a Head Referee/ Field Judge and a Back Judge.

GAME REGULATION / TIMES
1. All games are FL Elite regulation rulebook and time clock.  
2. Teams must be ready to start games on time. If the team is not there after 5 minutes has elapsed the Referee will call the game a forfeit and the present team will receive 6 points. Present team will win the forfeited game 6-0.
3. There are 3 (30 second) timeouts per half, per team.
4. No Overtime
5. No Special Teams
6. Maximum length of periods by division(s):
Rookies 8 minutes (4 quarters)
Freshmen 10 minutes (4 quarters)
Sophomores 10 minutes (4 quarters)
Juniors 10 minutes (4 quarters)
Seniors 10 minutes (4 quarters)
7. ABSOLUTELY NO Blocking Below the Waist OR CHOP BLOCKING!!!(OFFENSIVE OR DEFENSIVE) REGARDLESS OF LOCATION ON THE FIELD In addition to other specific prohibitions in the rulebook, no butt blocking, face tackling or spearing techniques are permitted in Florida Elite. If such techniques or any others not in compliance with Florida Elite are taught and implemented by Florida Elite coaches, said coaches shall face disciplinary actions, based on the league findings.
8. Half time will be 8 minutes.

GAME BALL
1. Ball Size for 13U through 14u is Seniors (TDY, TDS or HS Equivalent)
2. Ball Size for 9U through 12u is Sophomore and Junior (TDJ)
3. Ball Size for 6U through 8u is Rookies and Freshmen (K2)

CONDUCT
1. All Coaches and Players are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner and refrain from unsportsmanlike actions. At no point in time there are NO parents allowed on the sideline with the players. There are designated areas for viewing the games. ONLY BANDED COACHES and CURRENT PLAYING ATHLETES are allowed on the sideline while a game is in session.
2. Fighting, Verbal Abuse, and/or Threats will not be tolerated and will result in removal from Event. The length of suspension will be determined by the Tournament Director.
3. No taunting or excessive foul language.
4. Teams are responsible for cleaning their trash on their sideline.
5. No vandalism of venue property.
6. Weapons, drugs, alcohol, smoking and chewing tobacco products are PROHIBITED at our events.

RAIN OUT POLICY FOR SANCTIONED EVENTS:
1. Once Pool Games begin on Saturday there will be absolutely NO Refunds on entry fees or Tournament fees Please see the following scenarios below:
2. If there is a weather delay during Pool Play and play resumes, but your team left your Games will be forfeited and no refund will be given.
3. If Bracket Play begins and then gets rained out there will be no refunds, top 4 seeded teams qualify for Championship (there will be no paid bid awarded), trophy Goes to top seed.

NOTE: AFFILIATE EVENTS WILL CONTROL THEIR OWN REFUND POLIC PLAYER/TEAM ROSTER AMENDMENT

As Alpha Dawgs Elite continues to grow, we will continue to review our policies/procedures to ensure we are meeting your needs and providing the upmost customer service to our teams. With that being said we have decided to not to let teams allow players to play on multiple rosters/teams within an organization participating in our Tournaments. Please review the rules below and plan your rosters accordingly for upcoming tournaments. Please note, these rules will be strictly enforced.
