Season Rules for North Louisiana Panthers 7v7 Development League
Welcome to the season! To ensure a successful and positive experience for all players and families, we ask that everyone follow the rules and expectations outlined below. These guidelines are in place to prioritize the development and well-being of the kids, create a positive environment, and maintain a high standard for the league.
1. Player Attendance
Mandatory Participation: All players are expected to be present at practices and workouts. Regular attendance is essential for skill development, teamwork, and overall success in the league.
Communication: If a player is unable to attend a practice or workout, prior communication with the coach or Athletic Director is required. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child cannot make it.
2. Positive Environment
Respectful Attitudes: We ask all players, coaches, and parents to maintain a positive and supportive environment. Negativity of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes issues that are not focused on the betterment of the kids. Our primary goal is to help each player grow and improve.
3. Punctuality
Be On Time: Timeliness is critical to ensuring that each practice and event runs smoothly.
Practice: Players should arrive on time for every practice. Practices will start promptly, and late arrivals may miss important warm-ups or drills.
Events: Parents are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for practices and 1 hour and 30 minutes before events. This helps ensure that everyone is ready and that events can start as scheduled.
4. Parental Support
Active Participation: We encourage parents to be involved, whether that means supporting from the sidelines or helping with logistics. Your positive encouragement can make a huge difference in your child's experience.
5. General Conduct
Respect for Coaches, Players, and Officials: Please respect the coaches, players, and officials at all times. The focus is on player development, and all interactions should reflect that goal. Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
6. Payment Deadlines
To ensure that all players have the necessary equipment and materials to fully participate in the season, payment deadlines have been set. Timely payments are crucial to making sure that players receive their gear and are ready to participate in practices, workouts, and events without delays.
7. Late Payments
Penalties: Payments not made by the deadlines may result in a delay in receiving equipment or participation in certain events.
Communication: If there is an issue with meeting the payment deadline, please reach out to the Athletic Director or Coach as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
